THE Scottish Executive has wasted no time in announcing that the government's U-turn on Home Information Packs (Hips) south of the Border will in no way affect plans to introduce compulsory sellers' packs, including single surveys, to Scotland in 2008.
The Executive said last week: "The single survey is a Scottish solution, designed to suit the distinctive circumstances in the Scottish housing market."

Hips, which are information packs for buyers supplied and paid for by sellers, will become mandatory in England and Wales in June next year.
