Kirstie Allsopp and Grant Shapps talk HIPs Print E-mail
Saturday, 11 August 2007
MP Grant Shapps brought out the big guns to help him fire warning shots over new legislation which could cost house buyers at least £600, writes Ben Griffiths. He enlisted the support of TV personality Kirstie Allsopp, from property show Location, Location, Location.

She met with the Welwyn Hatfield MP to publicly reject the Home Information Act passed last Wednesday (August 1). The pair joined placard-waving Tory officials near Lambeth Bridge, London. The new act states that someone buying a house with four bedrooms or more will now need to purchase a Home Information pack.
