The total of accredited Domestic Energy Assessors (DEAs) has reached almost 1,600 ahead of the launch of the home information packs (Hips) scheme on August 1st.
According to figures from the Association of Home Information Pack Providers (Ahipp) there are now 1,595 DEAs, enough to assess properties with four or more bedrooms. These properties will be initially subject to Hips as of August, following which smaller properties will be introduced.
