Mortgage lenders and surveyors are urging the government to delay the introduction of controversial new home seller packs.
The Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML) and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors said the implementation of home information packs (HIPs) should be postponed until the results of a trial could be fully assessed.
The trial of the packs started in November last year, and the system is due to become mandatory in England and Wales on June 1.
