HIPs failure leaves taxpayers £7m bill 1 Year, 5 Months ago Karma: -2
This thread discusses the Content article: HIPs failure leaves taxpayers £7m bill

The only ones to make any money with HIPs were the so called training companies allowed to charge up to £3000 for domestic energy assessors, and of course the advertising agents...

Chris
HIPs more confusion

How does what you wrote, relate to taxpayers?!

Private citizens forked out for their training courses, not the tax-payer... but I know you know that. You're just trying to court controversy (for clicks) again, aren't ya luv!

Hi Mike

You realy must learn to read..

Critics of the controversial scheme attacked the Government as "wasteful, incompetent and irresponsible" following the admission that its advertising campaign to promote the packs had cost £895,000, pushing the total spend on HIPs to £7.4 million.

But you being a HIPs lover Knew that...

Domestic Energy assessors took a gamble, on government legislation.

Always best to wait until the legislation is in before making a decision don't you think..

I on the other hand like to deliver facts so the public can make a choice..

But I did young Christopher...

To which you prattled on about traiining companies, advertising agencies and the ordinary man in the street who have no work, going through marital hell, thousands of pounds down and some of which are now on the dole.

I personally think this is one of your best, so far at least - let's not go overboard, the best may be still to come.

I really would like you to make that extra effort to put down the Daily Wail for a min, and apply your mind to this...

1st of all: The legislation was already "in", if you remember - It got delayed didn't it, if you remember (you should do, you've reported on it enough times!).

2nd of all - and this is the killer - it got delayed because... guess! Yes, because there weren't enough DEAs!

Now, I'll leave the next logical leap to its natural conclusion, for you - Think of it as an exercise in logical thinking.

Get it right and I'll give you some karma

So you can't then?

Chris, have another go, it's not hard - I gave you loads of clues man!

And er... no keyword-laden link-drop in your last post Chris?

Must've been an oversight - Why don't you just have an ordinary sig?

People might start to think that, in the absense of writing intelligently about a subject you clearly know little about, that youi're just writing any old nonsense just to drop links/spam.
