Mortgage lenders and surveyors are urging the government to delay the introduction of controversial new home seller packs. The Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML) and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors said the implementation of home information packs (HIPs) should be postponed until the results of a trial could be fully assessed.
