People selling three-bedroom homes in England and Wales must now use Home Information Packs (Hips). The controversial measure was first introduced for four-bedroom homes at the beginning of August.

The Home Information Pack industry now has a new marketing opportunity.

The HIPCentral directory is much more than a simple listing, it allows subscribers to create a mini-website that includes a document library, an image gallery, and a product and services page in addition to the main page. For a limited time only those that sign-up for an enhanced listing on the website will receive a Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) assessment of their website produced by the founder of HIP Central, who has significant experience optimising websites in this sector.

Anyone selling a three-bedroom home after September 10 will have to provide the buyer with a home information pack, after the government said yesterday it was expanding the controversial scheme.
